How Assemble Your Bucket

Place the black lid ring over the top of the bucket rim

Apply even downward pressure around lid ring onto the buck opening rim until you feel or hear firm snap of attachment and the lid ring is on evenly around the bucket rim.
- Attach ergonomic handle to bucket side inserts holes

Once the lid ring is installed, screw on your gamma seal lid as needed

These Phantom Clear 5 Wash buckets will make all your details turn out perfectly. Not really, but they do class up your wash routine. However, they could be better: 1) There are no water level gradients on the side, which would have been easy to add when the (giant) Ripclean logo was silkscreened on the side, and 2) Since the buckets are crystal clear, they magnify the pavement scratches on the bottom. I fixed this by spraying a thick layer of Clear Plasti Dip on the bottom. You could also squeeze 5 or 6 big blobs of silicone from a caulk gun on the bottom and then set it on some wax paper until the silicone cures.
Quality bucket, Thick material, love the handle which is a soft but stable rubber. The gamma seal lid is great and the upgraded grit guard they send is top notch. This is such a grwat value.
Forget about chemical guys, grit guard or any other big brand options. These buckets are hands down the best detailing buckets available. Aesthetically pleasing, durable and reasonably priced when you spend enough to get free shipping. They’re almost too nice to use 😆 I definitely recommend.
