Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy*, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. *(some items are non-returnable see below for specifics)

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at contact@ripclean.com If your return is accepted, you'll need to send the item back to us, we do not cover return shipping. Items returned to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee or 15% if the item is used. Uncoiled waterlines with snipped zip ties will result in an automatic restocking fee of 15%.

Severely used/abused items may incur a 20% restocking fee or be completely rejected.

We do not refund original shipping charges.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item or incomplete order so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If an item arrives defective we will replace the said item and send you a pre-paid return label for the defective item. If you would like to return the entire item rather than accept a replacement piece you'll be subject to the 10% restocking fee or 15% if the item is used and responsible for shipping the item back to us, we do not cover return shipping in that circumstance. 


Exceptions / Non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on close-out sale items or digital gift cards.

We do not accept returns of any liquid cleaners.

We do not accept returns of used drill brushes, detailing brushes, pet hair/stripping blocks.

We do not accept returns of drying towels, microfiber towels, scrub n rub pads or Shop vac hose sleeves/covers. 

Orders outside of the USA are not returnable.

Cancellations
If an order is requested to be cancelled before shipping, we will do our best to catch the order before it is processed and shipped. However, it may be possible that your order ships before it can be pulled from our fulfillment center. There is no guarantee your order will be canceled and removed from the fulfillment center before it is shipped. If your order ships and you requested a cancellation, you will still be responsible for return shipping fees; however, we will waive the restocking fee. To increase the odds of canceling your order before it ships please contact us ASAP via email with your order number. 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 

If a chargeback has been submitted to your financial institution, we are unable to issue a refund. Once a chargeback is submitted, the order is frozen on our end and it will usually take your bank 75 business days to make a decision. To avoid lengthy refund delays for damaged/missing packages, please contact us first before submitting a chargeback. 

 

90 Day Warranty

The Better Extractor is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance for a period of ninety days from the date of the original retail purchase. 

This warranty does not cover defects or damage due to improper installation, alteration, accident, or any other event beyond the control of the manufacturer. Defects or damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or negligence will void this warranty. This warranty does not cover scratching or damage that may result from normal usage. 

This warranty is nontransferable and is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. During the warranty period, the manufacturer shall repair or replace defective parts at no cost to the purchaser. Shipping charges are not covered and are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

The manufacturer reserves the right to make substitutions to warranty claims if parts are unavailable or obsolete. 

The manufacturer shall not be liable for loss of use of the product or other consequential or incidental costs, expenses, or damages incurred by the consumer of any other use. The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from the use of this product. 

This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for use to the extent permitted by Federal or state law. Neither the manufacturer nor any of its representatives assume any other liability in connection with this product.

All warranty claims must be made through the retailer where the product was originally purchased. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of purchase will be required to process all warranty claims.
