SLICK-X RINSELESS WASH INSTRUCTIONS

Slick-X makes car washing quick and easy! Slick-X is eco-friendly and safe, 100% Biodegradable, and contains no harmful surfactants, cleaning agents, or VOCs. Safe for wax, sealant, coated surfaces, wraps, PPF, plastic, trim, vinyl, and leather. Suitable for in-garage or outdoor use. A few ounces of Slick-X and a few gallons of water are all you need! No hose rinsing required!

 

Use Ratios:

No PhD required to clean! Simply use the cap to measure!

256:1 (1 capful of Slick-X per gallon of water)

  • Rinseless wash
  • Window cleaner
  • interior cleaner
  • Wheel and rim cleaner

32:1 (2 capfuls (1 ounce) of Slick-X per 32 ounces of water)

  • Waterless wash
  • Quick Detailer
  • Drying aid

10:1 (6 capfuls (3 ounces) of Slick-X to 32 ounces of water)

  • Clay lube

 

Slick-X Washing Methods

Shake Well. Do not apply to a hot surface. Soak wash sponge or microfiber towels in solution. Wash one panel at a time, follow by immediately drying. Repeat the process until your vehicle is clean.

 

Using Premium Microfiber Towels

  • 4 to 6 Premium microfiber towels
  • 1 bucket/w dirt guard with 2 gallons of clean water mixed with Slick-X 
  • Sprayer Bottle
  • Hercules Premium drying towel

Place four premium microfiber towels into your clean Slick-X bucket to soak as you Pre-treat the panel(s) you are cleaning. Remove one premium microfiber from the bucket, loosely wring out some of the solution back into the bucket, and bi-fold the wet towel until you get 8 wiping panes per towel (4 panes per side of the towel). 

 

Using a  Two-sided Microfiber Wash Mitt

  • 1 to 2 two-sided microfiber wash mitts
  • 1 bucket/w dirt guard with 2 gallons of clean water mixed with Slick-X 
  • 1 bucket w/dirt guard with 2 gallons of water (Rinse)
  • Sprayer Bottle
  • Hercules Premium drying towel

When using a two-sided microfiber wash mitt, it is recommended you use a two-bucket wash system. One bucket with a dirt guard for your clean Slick-X wash liquid to complete your wet wipe after your pre-treat spray, and a second bucket with a dirt guard filled with clean water to rinse and wring out your mitt after each wet wipe to remove any picked up dirt on the mitt before re-introducing it into your clean Slick-X solution bucket to wash the next panel. Repeat this process until the car body is clean

 

Using a Hybrid Wash Sponge

  • 1 Hybrid Sponge
  • 1 bucket/w dirt guard with 2 gallons of clean water mixed with Slick-X 
  • 1 bucket w/dirt guard with 2 gallons of water (Rinse)
  • Sprayer
  • Hercules Premium drying towel

When using a hybrid wash sponge, it is recommended you use a two-bucket wash system. One bucket with a dirt guard for your clean Slick-X wash liquid to complete your wet wipe after your pre-treat spray, and a second bucket with a dirt guard filled with clean water to rinse and wring out your sponge after each wet wipe to remove any picked up dirt on the sponge before re-introducing it into your clean Slick-X solution bucket to wash the next panel. Repeat this process until the car body is clean.
