FAQS
BetterExtractor™ Hose Kit
No, the BetterExtractor is a hose conversion kit that converts your wet/dry shop vacuum into a pro-grade carpet and upholstery extractor. It connects a specialized extraction wand to your shop vac via a vacuum hose, while a separate waterline hooks up to your garden hose for continuous water flow.
The package includes:
(1) 25 ft. or 50ft. Reinforced red PVC Water Supply line with high-quality brass fittings on each side
(1) 10 Foot Contractor-Grade Flexible Vacuum Hose (4X more durable than standard hoses) Crush-resistant 2-layer polyethylene 42.37mm Outer Diameter hose
(1) Clear Commercial Grade Stainless Steel/Brass Extractor Handle
(1) Set of 3 Velcro Restraining Straps
The BetterExtractor hose kit has a 42.37mm outer diameter hose with a 2 ¼" OD (Outer Diameter) Black Locking Tab adapter allowing it to fit into any standard 2 ⅜" ID (Inner Diameter) shop vacuum inlet port +/- 2mm variance. Compatible brands include Ridgid, DeWalt, ShopVac, Vacmaster, Hart, Workshop, Craftsman, Milwaukee, Stanley, Kobalt, and Harbor Freight. If you are uncertain, please measure your vacuum's inner diameter of the inlet port with a tape measure or digital caliper. Contact us if you have any questions.

It can work on any size shop vac. We recommend a shop vac with at least 5 HP and 5+ gallon capacity for the best suction and extraction performance.
Most customers find the BetterExtractor significantly outperforms portable extractors like the Bissell SpotClean or Hoover SmartWash. Your shop vac provides 5–6.5 HP of suction power compared to 3–5 amps in portable machines. Plus, the BetterExtractor connects to your garden hose for unlimited water — no stopping every 5 minutes to refill a small tank. The result is deeper, more thorough extraction at roughly the same price as a mid-range Bissell.
Absolutely — car interiors are one of the most popular use cases. Professional auto detailers use the BetterExtractor daily on car seats (fabric, leather, and vinyl), floor mats, carpets, headliners, and door panels. The extraction wand is designed to reach tight spaces in vehicles.
Yes. For indoor use without a garden hose, we sell an Indoor Faucet/Sink Adapter Kit that connects the BetterExtractor waterline to any standard kitchen or bathroom faucet. Customers use it on couches, mattresses, area rugs, stairs, and carpet throughout the home.
Yes, the BetterExtractor is extremely effective for pet stain removal. When paired with our Attacker Enzyme Stain & Odor Remover, it breaks down pet urine, vomit, and organic stains at the molecular level and extracts them completely from the fabric. It's one of our most popular use cases — many pet owners call it a game-changer.
No. Cold water extraction with the right cleaning products (like our Thrasher or Attacker soaps) delivers excellent results. While warm water can help loosen tough stains, the key factors are chemical agitation and suction power — both of which the BetterExtractor excels at.
Modifications are not necessary. However, please be sure to remove your shop vacuum’s dry air filter before using your vacuum as an extractor. It is your choice if you would like to operate your vacuum with a wet vac filter or not. Our suggestion is always to use a wet filter to minimize dust particles in the air and keep your manufacturer warranty intact.
No, the hose/extractor head does not contain any heating elements. In our experience, heat is rarely needed for extraction. Most modern cleaning chemicals do not require heat to lift dirt and stains from upholstery — they just need agitation.
The 25/50ft waterline has a swivel brass barb adapter that connects to a standard ¾" home spigot (hose bib, faucet) or ¾" garden hose fitting. Simply spin your waterline onto your home spigot or reservoir tank with a standard ¾" spigot and you're good to go!
The 25ft waterline is perfect for most driveways and indoor use. The 50ft waterline gives you extra reach for larger areas, commercial jobs, or if your water source is far from your work area.
Thrasher Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner
Thrasher is a professional-grade carpet and upholstery cleaner designed for both automotive and home use. It produces rich, foaming suds that lift dirt, stains, grease, and grime from fabric seats, carpets, floor mats, couches, mattresses, and rugs. It works with extractors, scrub brushes, or spray-and-wipe applications.
Yes, Thrasher is safe for virtually all fabric types including automotive cloth, microfiber, nylon carpet, polyester upholstery, and cotton. It's pH-balanced and won't damage or discolor fabrics when used as directed. Always test on a small hidden area first on delicate materials.
Yes! While Thrasher works best with the BetterExtractor for deep cleaning, you can also spray it on, agitate with a brush, and wipe with a microfiber towel for spot cleaning. It's versatile enough for both deep extraction and quick surface cleaning.
Thrasher is your go-to general-purpose interior cleaner for everyday dirt, grime, and light stains. Attacker is an enzyme-based formula specifically designed for biological stains — pet urine, vomit, food spills, and odors. For the toughest jobs, use Attacker first to break down organic matter, then follow up with Thrasher for a complete clean.
Attacker Enzyme Stain & Odor Remover
Unlike regular cleaners that just mask odors or push stains around, Attacker uses powerful enzymes to break down odor-producing proteins (urine), organic matter (vomit, food), and odor-causing bacteria at the molecular level. It eliminates the source of the stain and smell rather than covering it up.
Attacker is effective on pet urine, pet vomit, food spills, coffee, wine, blood, sweat stains, milk, baby formula, and any organic or protein-based stain. It's also excellent for eliminating musty or mildew odors from car interiors and upholstery.
Yes, Attacker is safe for automotive cloth seats, carpet, floor mats, headliners, and trunk linings. It's one of the most popular products among professional auto detailers for tackling stubborn interior stains and odors.
Yes. Attacker's enzyme formula is designed to break down even old, set-in stains. For tough set-in stains, apply generously, let it dwell for 15–30 minutes to allow the enzymes to work, agitate with a brush, and extract. Repeat if needed for extremely old stains.
Yes, Attacker is formulated to be safe around pets and children once dry. The enzyme-based formula breaks down into harmless compounds. Always allow the treated area to fully dry before allowing pets or children on the surface.
Blizzard Extreme Foaming Car Soap
Blizzard is engineered for extreme foam volume. It produces thick, clinging suds that grab and lift dirt, grime, and contaminants from your paint surface without scratching. The dense foam lubricates the wash process, reducing the risk of swirl marks and micro-scratches.
Yes — Blizzard is specifically designed for foam cannons and produces some of the thickest foam you'll find. It also works great for traditional hand wash using the two-bucket method. We sell a Foam Cannon + Blizzard combo kit for the best value.
Yes, Blizzard is pH-neutral and safe on all paint protection including wax, sealants, ceramic coatings, and paint protection film (PPF). It won't strip your existing protection.
For foam cannon use, 1–2 oz of Blizzard per fill is recommended. For hand wash (bucket method), 1 oz per 3–5 gallons of water. A little goes a long way — the formula is highly concentrated.
Hercules 1400 GSM Drying Towel
GSM stands for grams per square meter — the standard measure of towel density and absorbency. At 1400 GSM, the Hercules is one of the highest GSM drying towels on the market, absorbing significantly more water per pass than standard 300–600 GSM towels. Less passes means less chance of scratching.
No. The Hercules is made with ultra-soft, scratch-free microfiber that's safe for all paint finishes including single-stage, clear coat, ceramic coatings, and PPF. The thick, plush fibers lift water without dragging across the surface.
Machine wash on cold or warm (never hot), use a gentle or microfiber-specific detergent (no fabric softener), and tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Fabric softener clogs microfiber pores and reduces absorbency. Follow these steps and your Hercules will last hundreds of washes.
Ripclean™ Snow Foam Cannon 3.0
The Foam Cannon 3.0 features a standard 1/4" quick-connect fitting that works with most gas and electric pressure washers between 1000–3200 PSI. Compatible brands include Sun Joe, Ryobi, Greenworks, Simpson, and DeWalt.
The Foam Cannon 3.0 is engineered for ultra-thick foam. The adjustable spray pattern and foam density knob let you dial in everything from a light mist to extremely thick shaving-cream-like foam. Paired with Blizzard soap, it produces some of the thickest foam available.
You can absolutely hand wash without a foam cannon. However, a foam cannon provides a contactless pre-wash that loosens and lifts dirt before you touch the paint, dramatically reducing the risk of scratches and swirl marks. It's considered a best practice by professional detailers.
Impact Tire & Wheel Cleaner
Yes, Impact is acid-free and safe for all wheel finishes including clear-coated, chrome, powder-coated, painted, polished, and anodized wheels. It will not etch, dull, or damage any wheel surface.
Yes, Impact is specifically formulated to dissolve and lift heavy brake dust, road grime, iron deposits, and tar without scrubbing. Spray it on, let it dwell for 2–3 minutes, and agitate with a wheel brush for best results.
Yes, Impact works on both wheels and tires. It cleans browning from tires and preps the surface for tire dressing or protectant application.
Pet Hair Remover & Carpet Striping Block
The block uses a specially textured surface that grips and pulls pet hair from fabric, carpet, and upholstery when you rub it across the surface. No electricity, no adhesive strips — just mechanical removal. It's reusable and lasts for years.
Yes, it works exceptionally well on automotive cloth seats, car carpets, floor mats, and trunk linings. It's a staple tool for professional auto detailers who encounter pet hair regularly.
Absolutely. It works on couches, beds, pillows, rugs, stairs, and any fabric or carpet surface in your home. It's also great for "striping" carpet — creating clean, groomed lines in carpet after vacuuming or extraction.
